Waves Wellbeing is a child-centred service which provides psychological assessments and interventions for children and adolescents. Waves Wellbeing was founded by Clinical Psychologist, Dr Suzanne McMahon. Dr McMahon is an experienced clinician who has worked in disability services and mental health services since 2015. She has a wide range of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults, across a range of contexts. Dr McMahon is passionate about providing a more accessible and timely service to children and families who require Psychoeducational assessments (e.g. dyslexia/dyscalculia assessments), Neurodevelopmental assessments (e.g. Autism Spectrum Disorder assessments), General Clinical Psychology assessments, and tailored psychological interventions.
Our mission at Waves Wellbeing is to provide a timely and efficient service to families in need. We recognise that each child has individual strengths and needs, which require tailored and collaborative assessments and interventions in order to holistically identify their areas of need.
Our vision is to ensure that all children who require an assessment of need can access it in a timely manner. We also endeavour to provide effective and evidence-based interventions to all young people who access our intervention services.
